Jeff joined Greenwich Metals in 2008 and focuses on trading Lead, Zinc, Aluminum hardeners and non-ferrous scrap. Prior to GMI, Jeff worked as a research analyst and Chief of staff for Cisneros Group, one of Latin America’s largest media and consumer products conglomerates. Jeff graduated with a B.A. in Literature from Union College and holds a post-Baccalaureate degree in Business from Columbia University.

Anuj Bareja
Anuj is based in Mumbai working on both ferrous and non-ferrous commodity business development, focusing on India and Southeast Asia. Anuj has extensive training and experience on production, initially working in various capacities with Hindalco/Birla Copper group in New Delhi/Mumbai from 2004-2011, ultimately as a manager overseeing regional Indian operations and leading a 10-member team marketing copper wire rod and cathode to the telecommunications, power and automotive industries. He then held numerous roles with the Trafigura group from 2011-2019 including Director for the Ryker wire rod project, Lykos online IT platform, and of the groups’ refined and scrap trading activities in India, sourcing a wide variety of nonferrous metals/products from the Middle East, Africa, Southeast Asia. Anuj holds a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Maharashtra College and a graduate degree in Business Administration (Marketing).
Dejan Jovanovic
Dejan has over 35 years in the metals business. He founded and managed Ferromet AB (now GMIC) in Stockholm in 1994, specializing in all ferroalloys trading and marketing. Prior to this, Dejan worked with imports and sales of nonferrous semi-finished products at CGT Metal in Stockholm (1984-1988), was a junior ferroalloys trader at trading house Scandinavain Steel, Stockholm, Dejan holds a B.S. degree in Business Administration from Stockholm University.
Sam Basi
Sam joined Greenwich Metals in 2019 as a Derivatives Trader. Prior to joining GMI, Sam worked at Trafigura Group for ten years, beginning his career in metals operations before moving to the hedging desk. From 2012 he ran the North American Lead and Zinc refined metal trading books. Sam holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Loughborough University in England.
Bitte Heed
Bitte has over 35 years in the metals trade based in Stockholm, Sweden and joined Ferromet AB (now GMI) in 1997 as a trader in specialty noble ferroalloys and minor metals. Prior to this, Bitte worked in administration at Marc Rich (1982-1985) and in logistics/traffic roles at Skandinaviska Malm and Skandinaviska Metmo (1985-1997).
Ross Miles
“Ross is a senior GMI global non-ferrous trader based in the UK with over 20 years’ experience within the non-ferrous recycling industry. He has a foundation in physical aluminum/copper production facilities and non-ferrous trading for AMC Group from 2000-2013, and with Trafigura Group from 2013-2016 as a manager of global trading of non-ferrous scrap/alloys based in Geneva. Most recently Ross held global management roles in primary aluminum and nonferrous recycled metals trading for HDP Trading, Kyen Resources UK and Viant Commodities. Ross holds a BSc in Geography from University of Liverpool.”
